Glazed cotton print in sage, gold, red & brown, titled "Capture of General la Vega By Captain May, Zachary Taylor", a scene from the Battle of Resaca de la Palma, multi cylinder roller print commemorating the Mexican War, see same, smaller piece of this textile from the Smithsonian Institution's collection on pg. 287 of Bridgeman & Drury's book, The Encyclopedia of Victoriana, 31.5" x 9 yds. 24", excellent-pristine.
