JUMEAU "MAMA, PAPA" TALKING DOLL, c. 1884

Bisque head w/ blue paperweight glass eyes, human hair wig, marked "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G. 7", jointed wooden body marked "Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris" in blue, w/ voice mechanism activated by pull strings at waist (not operative), dressed in orig inal slip and bloomers only. With glass bead necklace and one matching earring. Height 17 inches. Excellent.
