Charles Whitaker and Karen Augusta’s semi-annual Vintage Clothing & Textile Auction will return to the gallery in New Hope on Saturday October 23rd and Sunday October 24th, 2004. The 850+ lot sale, held over two days, will have no minimums or reserves.  

The auction is comprised of de-accessions from the Wadsworth Athenaeum, the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the New Bedford Whaling Museum, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and Northwestern College with select additions from historical societies, private estates and collections.

Textiles, fabrics, laces, and linens will be sold on Saturday afternoon, October 23rd beginning at 2PM. Antique clothing and accessories will be auctioned on Sunday, October 24th at 11AM. Previews will be held both days beginning at 8AM.
